Hello weevils!
Due to a sudden event that has happened recently (title says it all!), I am here with yet another post despite had not only writing my last one less than a week ago. As you may already know, word has spread around the community about a particular Weevil World trailer that has been recently uploaded onto the Bin Weevil YouTube channel and the particular thing that has caused the commotion is the way the video's views lines up with the rest as shown below:

As you may already know, word has spread around the community about a particular Weevil World trailer that has been recently uploaded onto the Bin Weevil YouTube channel and the particular thing that has caused the commotion is the way the video's views lines up with the rest as shown below:
So, as you can see, the views on the current video are an extreme anomalous result compared to everything else and when browsing throughout all the uploads on the channel, it has officially became the second most watched video within a matter of less than a week. So what is going on exactly? Surely this isn't right for a game that is virtually a zombie that barely reaches half a full server let alone a full server and yet it achieves over 3x the amount of views of all the other videos as shown on the screenshot that have been on the channel for at least half a year! Although I don't have solid evidence of 55Pixels doing something such as buying views, we can only analyse and speculate the information that is already there in order for it to lean towards our argument so let's zoom in!
Now it looks very suspicious being that there is only a total of 32 thumbs (including my own vote of no confidence in 55Pixels AKA dislike) being that the video has almost 51,000 views. And with that in hand, let's compare the quantity of likes/dislikes with videos with slightly less views!
Even one of my own videos which has a fifth of views has more thumbs clicked:
So as you can see, the like and dislike count on the Weevil World trailer do not add up to the likes and dislikes as seen on other videos.
Not only that, but throughout the 5 days the video has been up, the views have been taking dramatic jumps like for instance, there was one day where it had 20K views by which by the next day, it had more than doubled to 44K which is virtually more than the entire views of the 'Bin Tycoon Membership' video over the course of 24 hours. Very strange indeed...
However, some people in the community have spoken of the video being used for an advertisement in some way but from what I know, I don't really know if you can really advertise via pop-ups and what not using a YouTube upload and even if you could, I don't know if YouTube would allow it thus meaning 55Pixels would still be breaking the rules. And I guess there is also the possibility that the 55Pixels staff have just been constantly clicking their video after getting bored of the same old cookie clicker whilst on their lunch break AKA an entire days work shift.
If 55Pixels have indeed cheated in order to gain views then shame on them because they were the ones who have drove several of their player base out and have continuously covered up the fact that they have terrible security and have made it so simple for extreme hacks to be performed so at the end of the day, they have themselves to blame for when they get barely any views. I myself barely reach 100 views when I make a video but you don't see me ever bumping up my views in a way that goes against YouTube policy!
And I guess it would make them hypocrites because they'll be all over any player that is changing a single hat colour code and changing it's value whilst they themselves would simply be changing the value of their YouTube views.
That's it for this post!
