Hello weevils!
It seems as if writing my previous post about unfair banning has released some sort of curse because what is currently happening on the Bin Weevils website is something that literally randomly bans you or just doesn't let you in with correct login details and I must say, I totally did not expect anything of a sort to ever occur!
So when attempting to login you may simply get this:
And the most weirdest part about this is that you may get a different outcome when trying to login on a different internet browser. For instance, I tried to login using Google Chrome and it came up saying my account is 'Parent disabled' but when I tried to login on Mozilla Firefox, it allowed me to enter the game perfectly without any issue. Just as a friend of mine could successfully login on Firefox but on Chrome, it kept saying that the login details they typed in were incorrect. Not only that, but whilst attempting to use the page on the site that allows you to change your password, they got this message:
So you can't even change your password for the sake of your own security either!
Linking the two scenarios together, it appears we can theorise that there is an issue with the Bin Weevils database when being applied to Google Chrome by which I have absolutely no idea how this could have even happened in the first place! The instability of Bin Weevils has for once completely surprised me.
Furthermore, someone within the community did contact 55Pixels as to why they were banned and in their reply, they were told that some sort of verification needed to be done with their activation E-Mail needed to be done or some sort which I personally find as a ridiculous measurement that may have caused this crisis on the website. It's as if 55Pixels discovered the process of having to show an ID card in shops to prove you are over 16 or 18 and thought to themselves "Hey, why don't we apply something like that to our own kids game!".
In addition to such a mad meltdown, could the extremely small 55Pixels team actually resolve this problem? I mean, they already have problems with the amount of staff working and the skills these staff have so it really doesn't look bright. If it carries on like this, perhaps Bin Weevils could just close right here right now because this is really getting beyond a joke when you can't properly log into your own freaking account!
I guess it's turned into a bar magnet after the poles have been broken...
That's it for this post!
