Hello weevils!
For the past few days, I haven't found anything to rant about so I've decided to finally post a discussion in which I have secretly planned long ago.
This discussion relates to an in-game plant called a 'Flower Tower' in which many issues around it arise but heres the twist; the way in which the issues are set out are a way in which details can be discussed. Yes, I just invited you to take part in something on the site.
Here is a picture of the 'Flower Tower':

From looking at the image above, I can already pick out a few problems. Let's start off with the level required and how it doesn't adapt to the amount of XP it gives out. So, if you were to be at level 25 right now, you could easily whizz through various levels without having to do any challenge what so ever. Since these plants aren't considered 'rare', you can buy as many as you like and can harvest around 15,000 XP every 1.5 days which is a total of 90,000 XP per week and the XP required to level up from levels such as level 25 are extremely too low and is making the challenge way too easy. Due to how much mulch and xp it gives and how fast it grows, plants such as helicopter swedes, ice cream cones, bling caps etc will be instantly ignored which shouldn't be the case as those plants make a perfect grind for low levels like that and are in the fact the plants I enjoyed harvesting for XP and due to the fact they grow in around 4 days, I wasn't getting so much mulch and XP.
MY RESOLUTION:
Onto our next problem, we have the mulch it gives out. Every 1.5 days, you can get around 187,500 mulch profit which is a total of 1,125,000 mulch per week in which allows you to buy any mulch product in any shop by just simply planting and harvesting plants. I myself sky rocketed from 2 million mulch to 7 million mulch alone by just planting these plants. Becoming a mulch millionaire was supposed to be a very huge challenge. I mean, the idea of getting 1 million mulch as a prize for finding one out of the 25 golden bin bots spread out the UK means it was a pretty significant number to reach and having the ability to reach that so easily makes the golden bin bot hunt and the competition in Issue #2 of the Bin Weevils Magazine look like complete trash. This is speculation at it's best and reminds me of the US in the 1920s where 'speculators' bought 'on the margin' and got a huge tonne of profit.
MY RESOLUTION:
Last but not least, the idea that it will be over-rated and the only plant that will be planted out of all the plants in the shop. The thing that gives it the name 'game-breaking' is that it's so much better off than everything else. The other plants in the shop will simply only be used for decorating your garden and trying to achieve garden trophies or garden of the week and we all know that gets boring eventually and we will just stop doing it. Then what?
MY RESOLUTION:
So, there we end this post. Is there anything you agree or disagree with? Are there any more problems with this plant? Are there any more resolutions you can suggest? COMMENT BELOW!
MY RESOLUTION:
- Increase the level requirement to around level 60/70+ as those levels require so much XP to level up that you will be able to simply grind on harvesting whilst been able to still get XP from playing games and entering codes and what not (levelling up in the 70s sure takes around a month to level up with exception of constant planting of Flower Towers throughout a super deluxe garden).
- Possibly increase the growth time from 1.5 days to a minimum of 3 days so that you aren't getting too much.
- Increase the price so that you will at least need more challenge in trying to earn the mulch to obtain them first

MY RESOLUTION:
- Decrease the amount of mulch harvested to a minimum of 5,500 mulch so that you aren't getting a huge tonne of profit.
- Bring inflation to Bin Tycoon shops so that prices match the amount of mulch that can come off constant harvesting.
- Increase the space needed to plant a Flower Tower so that you aren't planting around 75 every 1.5 days.

MY RESOLUTION:
- Decrease it's value so that it doesn't stand out as being the only good plant to use for mulch and XP grinding.
- Bring more meaning into the plants around it. Perhaps introduce a new garden challenge in which it requires planting a given plant or maybe create new Bin Badges which require harvesting an x amount of plants that aren't Flower Towers.
- Take Bin Tycoon caps of all other plants so that at least plants such as 'helicopter swedes' will be used more frequently by non-tycoons as they will be able to do old fashioned grinding which results in various plants being planted and not just one plant.
