Hello weevils!
Unsurprising as ever, I find a whole month of garbage (sadly not genuine garbage which you'd find in an actual bin) injected into the beginning of the new academic year. Let's take a look:
Unsurprising as ever, I find a whole month of garbage (sadly not genuine garbage which you'd find in an actual bin) injected into the beginning of the new academic year. Let's take a look:
So as always, despite Bin Weevils being the website that contains these so called 'highlights', Weevil World tends to always have the first say and seeing what is on the table for this month, I can safely say that these are one of the worst highlights for Weevil World ever.
It starts off with a promotion for playing multiplayer games on the small messenger. This is probably the best thing out of the whole highlights, but in terms of what it exactly is, games involving connecting 4 counters together can already be played on; you guessed it, Bin Weevils! And with the smallest population the game has ever had, there is simply no excuse when it comes to being able to play such multiplayer game with your friend! The clip art also shows Tic-Tac-Toe or as us Brits tend to call it: Noughts & Crosses. This multiplayer game is a new addition, I'll give it that however, in terms of game play, it is pretty much a similar goal to connect 4 where you have to connect your own pieces in a line and in addition to that, I don't see it as anything to get hyped or even slightly excited over. But, to conclude, I must take these multiplayer games with a pinch of salt because who knows? Maybe there will be more multiplayer games when they actually arrive in the update and perhaps there will be completely new games which will all give a small reward when you win just like on Bin Weevils. I'd personally love them to implement chess and draughts but all I can say is, make your move 55Pixels, and make it a right one for once. The opportunity is there for you, now jump to it!
And then we have the rest of the highlights which is just a load of crap which made me shocked when I saw positive comments underneath in their comments section. I mean, for crying out loud, this transformers fiasco has been going on since Weevil World existed and the announcement of bringing out clothes has been announced in several other months before and yet hasn't been implemented at all! How can we seriously trust what you promise when you fail to fulfil it every time? It was only last month when you last promised to bring out clothes and somehow, the darn highlight of August has somehow defected onto the September highlights as if someone crossed the boarder between North and South Korea without any military control.
Weevil World presents itself as a game in 'Beta' but seeing as they've failed to bring out such a basic feature of clothing and the fact that the game only has one public area, I'd say myself that this game is in Alpha unless of course they intend on only having the one area full of shops and nothing else throughout the entire game by which if so, you honestly need to get a new team!
And onto Bin Weevils, we have recycled Summer Fair blah blah blah... really? More Hem's Hat's Haturdays? Can you please just stop it for once before it ends up occurring every single month thus creating an endless discount sale? Blah blah blah the nest inspector is giving away more codes because if you didn't already know, giving away weekly codes attracts an audience of millions and keeps players engaged for hours (what a treat right?)!!
And then we have Scribbles' birthday which considering 55Pixels are terrible at cannon based plots and stories, they have surprisingly remembered the same date Scribbles celebrates his birthday every year! As always, my own birthday also happens to occur in September every year so I'll be spending more time celebrating that considering that the drawn weevil has nothing new to do in his celebration and is the type of guy that just loves to do the same old crap every year. Had 55Pixels had their way with my birthday, I'd probably be seeing 'Happy 1st Birthday' banners within the decorations every birthday! Moving on, the only bit that I found would spark a single percent of interest would be the Bin Tycoon giveaway but if you happen to be at a stage like me where you have pretty much maxed out everything important on the game, a Bin Tycoon membership would only really allow you to make more magazines or open up your plaza which hasn't changed for years since there has been no plaza style updates for years! But I will say, it is nice of 55Pixels to give £99 of memberships away seeing as the company loses profit every year and is virtually heading towards bankruptcy.
And the highlights conclude with a possible recycled pirate party and a worthless promotion. You know what, just wake me up till September ends because I really can't be bothered to live through this terrible month!
That's it for this post!
