Hello weevils!
This will officially be the last post I will write being 16 years old (being that my birthday is tomorrow, just to get that out there) and earlier on in the month, I was talking with a few people in the community about how there are so many things on Bin Weevils that are meant to have came out but haven't but have rather sat there for years with such labels like 'Coming Soon'. You yourself may have just received a bunch of ideas in your mind when reading that! So let's get into detail.

Possibly the most well known content that is yet to be released, these great achievements that have kept me especially engaged in particular in-game activities and haven't seen any new arrivals since the 3rd SWS Case Study was released and being that achievements are supposed to be such a basic feature for a game, this game has surprisingly failed to complete the collection.
And to this day, we wait, we hope and then we get annoyed. There is no way these are 'Coming Soon' because we have waited so long that we would have pretty much lived through the good old 2nd generation of Bin Weevils from 2007-2010 in that time! For a bit of trivia, everyone in-game hadn't even reached the final BinCard yet when we first started to wait for the new badges and now that most of us have completed all 16 BinCards, the BinCard section of the Bin Badges STILL hasn't arrived along with other categories and for crying out loud, why is there a badge for collecting nest trophies BUT not a badge for collecting garden trophies yet? There are still unreleased Bin Badges in the Bin Weevils files such as the 'Ice Cream Monster' badge and the 'SWS Agent' badge too!
So this feature is pretty much an absolute joke now which is very much a shame because it unlocked the hardest of challenges in the game and I myself ended up doing more than 20 runs of Laboratory Lockdown until I got the 5-star gold badge on it and boy, it was sure a relief! Having the Bin Badges in especially games would have been engaging and a load of fun but sadly, I don't think were ever going to see the day unless a private server comes out.
What they should have done was immediately create all the Bin Badges within the year of arrival and as a bit of suggestion, they should have made it so that experience was gained every time you earned a star (with more XP given the more stars you collect) making it so people were even more determined to earn badges but I guess it's too late now...

Possibly the least known content that is yet to be released, it has been an extremely tremendous amount of time since Lab's Lab was last given any attention and to this day, there are several new test subjects that are yet to be released.
Yet again, it is a major disappointment to not see any of the new test subjects come out after all these years since it would have expanded the daily brain strain and would have reduced it's grinding process however, this does cast a shadow of confusion being that 'Fruit or Fiction' appears twice and being that 'Hit the Switch' already exists and can be found on the previous page and so in addition to that, I cannot be certain to whether or not this was intentional decoration to make the game look more fancy but even then, the way they have shown it would clearly make any player presume that it is content that is yet to be released and if the Bin Weevils Team really wanted to show it as decoration, wouldn't they just fill the shelves with bottles or what not WITHOUT giving them a label? What do you think?

One of our favourite features to have updates added to, only to be just abandoned a long with several other potential projects that would improve Bin Weevils massively.
When you click on the sign post outside the Time Portal, you are left with the statement 'Maybe there are even more ancient areas that lie in this portal...' meaning that in other words, more old areas would be added. Now of course, 55Pixels haven't bothered updating the sign post (because quite frankly, they simply don't care about the time portal) meaning it still looks like Peel Park is the most recently added area but as we all know, a successful protest along with a successful response to then moderator Swathe did result in the return of Kip's Scrapyard however, the such quoted statement I stated still remains in-game so as far as we know, 'Coming Soon' features are still yet to arrive.
55Pixels have absolutely no excuse to not update the Time Portal since it is a feature involving bringing back already existed areas and should barely involve any work what so ever. 55Pixels themselves can keep spouting 'Nobody uses it' as much as they want because they know themselves that players have given them the solutions to making the place used. For example, we have told them that making the Time Portal more noticeable by putting they're areas on a map of some sort and by also returning the features of the old areas (the multiplayer games in Peel Park, the message board in Ink's Orange Peel and the arcade in Kip's Scrapyard) should make the Time Portal popular but 55Pixels haven't bothered implementing one of our solutions have they?
And at the end of the day, even if the Time Portal is empty most of the time, isn't it the fact that they get praised and get a lot of positive feedback the only thing that matters? Even though we don't visit there often, it's the idea that it's there that makes us happy and they should know that already. I mean, it was the return of Ink's Orange Peel that made me buy another Bin Tycoon in support only to realise later on that they generally didn't care about returning it and simply only squashed the old areas in one stupid place in order to shut players up who have been tirelessly asking for the old areas to return for years.
Bin Weevils has always been a one thing to the other kind of game and I think it is rather pathetic to slap a 'Coming Soon' label on something only to forget it and never release it, making the game look really unprofessional. There have been many times where such content that is meant to be coming soon has been completely wiped out of existence as if it wasn't intentionally meant to have been coming out and yes, don't get me started on the Bin Bank of Dosh and the Bin Pet Safari.
The only thing given from these unreleased features was this blog post and a summary on the 'Current Issues' page. If you know any unreleased content that clearly looks like it is meant to be coming soon but hasn't and has been there for years like some statue, then be sure to leave a comment on this post!
And all I can say to 55Pixels is to get a darn notebook because you clearly need reminded of your unfinished work in some way!
That's it for this post!
