Hello weevils!
I have to say, for once I am actually not completely angry with how months have been highlighted since what I have seen on Weevil World is surely a fantastic collection of things which have made it one of the best highlights posts in a while and is just what a game in BETA needs!
The first Christmas on Weevil World reveals the first set of Christmas accessories, updates based around your nest and even an expansion to the game with a new area which is for once something I myself have said that they should do so good job on gradually overturning the Alpha/Beta and making the game more official! There is also a minor update on the weather which I can let slip through my fingers as it's standing aside bigger updates for once and is NOT HIGHLIGHTING THE ENTIRE MONTH. There is also a new addition of a pool game (still not chess/draughts but y'know, it is something sort of new so I really shouldn't be picky) but one update that particularly lit my eye was the announcement of King Of The Bin being reinstated AT LAST!!
Seven dark years of protesting and despair will finally come to an end if this feature is executed in the correct manner. I would probably have a bit of a rant at the feature being renamed as 'Weevil of the Week' but considering that Weevil World is actually not supposed to be based in a bin, all I can really do is praise the fact that context has been considered once also! 55Pixels deserve the full gratitude since as I have mentioned before, it is very important to give them a feeling as heart warming as possible since it encourages them to create other things based on player's interest. However, as always, this certainly doesn't mean for a second that we will forget the incompetence you have presented in the past; especially when the feature was originally announced only to suddenly tell us to 'move on' from it (resulting in me having to leak the reason why they would cancel such a thing of course!) which in itself had made us lose a lot of trust in you. There has also been constant ignoring and nitpicking when it came to requesting the feature back for the past seven years and the idea that you have called it a 'popular Bin Weevils feature' has clearly shown us that you have known all along that it would please several players so why on Earth has it taken until now to finally revive it? I personally think the only way you could get full redemption for this stupid behaviour is to openly apologise or simply just admit you were wrong and we were right.
Moreover, I still find it puzzling as to why this feature has been blocked away from Bin Weevils until Bin Weevils itself became a game on it's dying knees. Luckily enough, my good friend Jjs recently contacted them about King of The Bin being on Bin Weevils and here is their response:

Yes, I am shocked as you are that they have actually replied with a proper response and not a lousy automated email sent from the course of skimming over a sent email (what is honestly going on with 55Pixels lately?) but focusing on the main topic, there seems to still be some nitpicking opposition as they state "We are still reviewing the possibility" of implementing something to similar to Bin Weevils. Well, what on Earth do you mean by possibility? Why can't you just add it!? What the heck is standing in your way!? Despite the weak mentality, it is good to finally hear the words "We understand the competition is an important memory for many players" because heck we've waited quite a darn long time to hear that and it sure makes a change from "move on from KOTB"!
Moving on, we now enter the realms of Bin Weevils where the fantastic highlights flip over as the game that is likely celebrating it's last ever Christmas will be celebrating it the same way once again! Same old Winter Wonderland, same old rivalry and same old advent calendar but I guess it could be worse since it could be an advent calendar containing only 12 doors by which contains cheap crap which is then priced at around £25-£50 but hang on, nobody would be that daft to actually create something like that and so the Bin Weevils calendar remains the worst of this year. The only time recycling the advent calendars worked was when they were giving out only mulch but now that they give out nest item accessories, it is utterly pointless as you are just being given the same exact item when to be fair, you can never have enough mulch or dosh! I am honestly sick and tired of having to go over the ridiculous recycles all the time so I will end here.
So I finish what is the most positive post I have ever done on this rant site which I myself am still pinching myself over since I am honestly convinced I am dreaming! I for one have actually felt a bit of hype/excitement which I haven't felt in several years and if King of The Bin is executed in the correct way, then Angus De Watteville would certainly present his role as a CEO in a good light and would certainly make him look a lot better compared to his predecessor. Although I also think that returning this feature is just a last minute attempt at keeping players active as you close Bin Weevils and move onto Weevil World, I won't really care as long as you continue to basing your game(s) around the enjoyment of the players and NOT the freaking cash! Fingers crossed!
That's it for this post!
