It really is the final straw as 55Pixels have put the last nail in the coffin when they released this joke of what was supposed to be a return of King of The Bin. So, what did they promise in the highlights at the start of the month exactly?
What 55Pixels have done here is pretty much mislead their own player base by promoting something completely false. At least with the Time Portal, although it was still a middle finger in terms of just dropping the old areas in a stupid area to shut us up, at least we knew what was going to happen beforehand whereas with this, me and many others clearly got the impression that a process where weekly (and possibly all-time) leaderboards were put up along with a King Of The Bin stats leaderboard which would help track the progress of the scores people have been getting in several different games would return but instead, we got some stupid competition by which the only comparison you can make between King Of The Bin now and King Of The Bin then is that they virtually award a unique crown to the winner which they can wear for a week. And that's the ONLY similarity!!
Moreover, even despite the harsh false information given to us, the actual competition itself is rather stupid. Firstly, it's rather hard to clearly pick a winner since you are having to look through several different factors ranging from nest progress, number of buddies, quantity of games played etc which will make it too complicated as a competition for both the players and the team. The nest category itself always used to have it's own separate competition where your rooms would be judged by the Nest Inspector and you would achieve a completely different reward and so I have absolutely no idea why they thought merging competitions together would be a good idea! Same applies to dressing up as Weevil World itself not long ago had it's own 'Best dressed' competition. Also, basing it around the quantity of games is extremely unfair as not everyone has their own computer! I myself 9 years ago would have had absolutely no chance of winning this competition due the fact that I used to only have 1 hour on the computer each day! Families across the country itself still tend to share a computer between multiple people in the house meaning that only a select few have a chance of even winning it to begin with. Back in the good old days, the actual King Of The Bin competition involved who could get the best weekly high scores on the games and although having a limited time on the computer would make it take longer to develop a proper skill for these games, it's safe to say that it wouldn't be near enough impossible to achieve the competition but rather that it would just take a longer amount of time to get there. Including the concept of needing 'lots of buddies' also encourages loads of people to just spam add anyone and I myself get enough buddy requests as it is thank you very much!
Lastly, I throughout the last couple of days actually tried to win this competition because winning it would have shown that there would be a great inequality between all other players as I was able to play Weevil World at all times due to having my own computer and losing the competition could simply show how much of a shambles the competition itself was and guess what? I lost! But hang on, why did I lose exactly? I literally won over 110 games on their new 'quick pool' game (which I can safely say is the most games anyone has played) as well as won a few on the other pool games as well as won several games of paths and did run after run on weevil jump. I also completely decorated 2 nest rooms on the game and went from the lowest nest coolness to the highest silver rating nest coolness and I already had maximum buddies to begin with so why on Earth did I not even make it to runner-up? A lot of the people who were on the runners-up list hadn't even played a quarter of the games I had played throughout the days (and I know that myself as I played pool with a lot of them and saw their statistics) and yet they managed to win. There was also beano160 who had played quite a lot of the games and I was quite shocked to also see that not even he had made the list! The only reason I can honestly think as to why I wouldn't have won is simply that 55Pixels simply have something against me. This could have been over the criticism I once sent to their Twitter (getting me blocked) or perhaps they may have found some of my YouTube videos and possibly got offended despite them mostly being a joke! Or it could even be this site itself because we all know that they can't take negative feedback seriously! Or could it even be that report I sent to KidSafe after seeing how unsafe Bin Weevils really was for children? It sure was a good thing to experiment by religiously playing Weevil World after this so called 'King Of The Bin' came back!
Due to the fact that they have mislead us as well as potentially rig the competition, I think it is worth writing to them. So, I have sent them this:
Hello,
I am writing on the basis of the recent 'Weevil of the Week' competition that is supposedly meant to be a relaunch of the popular 'King Of The Bin' competition which used to be a feature in Bin Weevils before being terminated in 2010 prior to the relaunch of the game.
My problem here is that earlier this month, you described it in your December highlights as 'A popular Bin Weevils feature from the past' but unfortunately, what we really got was a completely new competition that involves a completely different process as to how 'King Of The Bin' worked. For instance, King Of The Bin was all about acheieving weekly high scores on many different games where whoever got to the top of the 'King Of The Bin' stats leaderboard at the end of the week would win the prize. However, when this 'popular Bin Weevils feature from the past' made it's return recently, the closest thing that resembled playing games was no other than the quantity of games that people have played which is rather unfair considering that not everyone has their own computer and would thus not have enough time to play as many games compared to a certain amount of other players. King Of The Bin also had no competition related to decorating your nest, dressing up, adding your buddies etc.
So overall, you have basically mislead all of your viewers (including myself) since you have not delivered what was promised to us and I think it is rather fair for you to take some responsibility into this matter and perhaps sort this out since you have potentially promoted false information at the start of the month.
Another problem is that there seems to be some issue relating to how you actually win this competition as throughout the week, I have been playing loads of games and increasing my nest coolness as you have stated on the guidelines of the contest but to my surprise, the people who had won the competition hadn't actually played as much as I have done throughout the past few days. I know this by playing your new recent pool game where I myself had won over 100 games overall (as well as winning loads of paths games and playing loads of weevil jump) which quite frankly, I don't think anyone has even got close to winning that many games as during that process, I played many of the people featured as runners-up and when I checked their statistics when playing games like pool, they weren't even as close as I was when it came to the quantity of winning games. Had this been the actual King Of The Bin competition that we had all expected due to it being promoted as 'A popular Bin Weevils feature from the past', we should have been able to track who was currently in the lead of winning via some form of leaderboard which clearly tells you the most highest scores achieved throughout all the games rather than being presented with many winners every week without being given any additional background information such as scores which will prove that they met the requirements in order to win.
So as players, I think we have a right to know:
1) Will the competition change in the future to the actual 'King Of The Bin' competition as we were promised once Weevil World gets more games?
2) How are you able to successfully judge the winner of Weevil Of The Week via looking at several different factors such as nest coolness, gameplay, dressing etc. which are statstically collected in completely different values to one another (e.g. gameplay is judged via quantity, nest coolness is judges by nest rating, clothes are simply judged by appearance etc.)?
3) Due to the fact that I somehow lost despite clearly playing a lot more games compared to the winners, how are you able to prove that the winners are judged via a program that rates best to worst (like King Of The Bin is meant to be rated in) rather than just yourselves judging by your own selectiveness (which can easily be mis-judged)?
Although I understand that you don't tell anyone about any details behind the curtain, I do think that you ought to answer these questions based on the fact that we have been mislead and the fact that the whole process of judging the winner doesn't seem to add up. I hope you are able to provide some reassurance.
I look foward to your reply.
Kind Regards,

Being as were at the beginning of the Christmas holidays, it will likely take a while to get a reply but rest assured, I will keep sending if I do not get a response after a certain amount of time.
So we reach the end of the post. At this rate, I think I might as well just give up on trying to make the game(s) better since it simply just backfires on us in it's cruellest most possible way. Just look at the Time portal for instance; all that did was return the old areas in a way by which it would be remote and now we have this joke of of a King Of The Bin return which isn't anything like King Of The Bin! Although I don't regret all the hard work we have done trying to campaign and attempt to get the good features back, the idea that these features return in a crappy way that we didn't expect it in order to shut us up about it simply shows that 55Pixels are a lost cause that aren't going to ever pull their weight to properly please their subscribers and players. I am simply finished at this rate. They had their last chance of redemption and they completely blew it!
Fondling with our idea of bringing back old areas was one thing, but fondling with our long wish of King Of The Bin coming back is pretty much the worst thing you can ever do and so with that in hand, I'm just going to straight out say "F*** you 55Pixels" and give up on trying to ever find hope within your brain that is constantly only interested in making income from angry people.
I was really excited for the return of King Of The Bin as well. Oh well, another subject bites the Current Issues page.
That's it for this post!
