Before I start this post, I would like to clarify that Rant Central now uses a different news page due to a particular bug caused by a post sent by my new recruit which caused the news page to weirdly re-direct to a non-existent page. Due to this, I was unable to view and modify the news page in the Weebly editor thus meaning I could not remove the post that was causing the re-direction which is an awful shame seeing as Clott5857 made a great first post for the site. Hopefully, this circumstance should not happen again and I hope for Clott to continue his great contributions for the site. Any old posts have now been archived onto a new page and despite the name I have now given to the old news page; don't worry, you will not get radiation poisoning! Right, onto the main post:
Hello weevils!
It's that time of the year again! Boo! Did I scare ya? Probably not, but the highlights on especially Bin Weevils this Halloween have sure given me a heck of a fright! I also believe it's the first Halloween on Alpha/Beta Weevil World so enough of the text, let's get right in!

So on Weevil World, we have the entire game becoming dark followed by new accessories and items topped off with a pretty cool naming contest which I find quite a great idea since it encourages children to use their pun-ny imaginations and english skills and since it's not an art contest, there shall most likely be no situation where the design that looks the most easiest to re-create will instantly win.
Knowing myself, I generally go on the full rant-page when it comes to accessory updates but seeing as it is the first Halloween on Weevil World and that the game itself isn't officially out, this update is at the level where it is actually a good update as there is no sign of constant repetition and the items themselves are completely brand new so good on you 55Pixels, you have taken half a blog post load of work off my chest!
However, things look the creepiest on Bin Weevils (don't say I didn't warn you) as 55Pixels pull off yet another spooky Halloween context as they have made the content exactly the same for the fourth odd consecutive year which really sends a chill down my spine as it's like they have based their game on the really scary film 'Grave Encounters' where the same areas keep re-appearing and that there is no way of escaping! Seeing as 55Pixels have decorated the game in this way, I'm spooked!
Not only that, but it's as if one of the staff members at 55Pixels have been possessed by an American ghost as scarily enough, the term 'Jack-O'-Lantern' has clearly popped up on the highlights of this very British game. With that in hand, I'm not going to be able to sleep tonight!
Not to fear if you are feared as you can distract yourself by laying your very disappointing eyes on the disgraceful LEGO friends promotion they have concluded their highlights with. Thinking of it, seeing as it is Halloween, why couldn't they do a promotion of the new It or the new Saw film? Just imagine, going to Slam's Toy Box to visit the sewer and clicking on the clown to 'Become a fan' or going round the fantasy island finding saw blades or missing paper boats for 50 mulch each. Now, you may say it's not appropriate for children but if you look around and see the activity such as constant racism and foul language being constantly spread then I'd say promoting 15+ rated films on Bin Weevils would be the equivalent to promoting Teletubbies!
Well done if you have got this far in the post. It was scary enough writing it let alone reading it! I hope this post hasn't released any unexpected excretions anywhere.
That's it for this post!
