Hello weevils!
This month is truly just plain awful for even Weevil World standards. I mean, just look at what is in store:
This month is truly just plain awful for even Weevil World standards. I mean, just look at what is in store:
So we start off with Weevil World. Now, I don't find a huge problem with the actual content being offered on here, it is just simply the quantity which is what I find way too little for a freaking paid company. It's as if they've been slacking off or something!
So in terms of the content itself, let's start with the 50% off Halloween items sale. Now, I don't have any issues with reducing prices on Halloween items after Halloween because quite frankly, this is what happens in real life however, I do think they should not be putting this at the top of a freaking November highlights or even on the highlights at all because there is simply nothing exciting about experiencing something based around an event that has only just finished. Have they actually not learned from when they kept the Summer Fair running throughout September that one time?
Then we have the 'Rainbow Bathroom' which I will let slip through my fingers again as Weevil World doesn't have quite a lot of nest items so I will talk about the Winter Weather and Clothing. This yet again is simply the building blocks of the official game so there is no issue with bringing out any form of accessory as I speak however, the problem arises when 'Winter'; yes 'Winter' related things are being promoted on highlights that are covered with COLOURED LEAVES. And what do you associate with coloured leaves? Why of course Autumn! So why on Earth are they contradicting themselves by promoting Winter on an Autumn themed post exactly? You may think I am off my rocker for ranting on such tiny detail but from experience, children tend to absorb false associations when they are presented to them and so looking at a bunch of leaves and the word 'Winter' on a blog post may make them believe that Winter is the season where leaves are scattered everywhere. I myself used to always think lightning was blue due to how it was portrayed on the television but it was until I saw it in real life that I realised that it can be orange and what not as well!
Then we have the 'Best Dressed' winner which yet again casts confusion due to how 'Autumn' is now portrayed on the post but other than that, I really do wonder how this dress contest is going to work because as things stand, due to a lack of clothing items as there is in this shortly lived game, there aren't many possibilities you can come up with for there to be a proper competition. I myself think the winning costumes from the Halloween dress up contest from last month were similarly wore by a lot more people than just the winners alone.
And to go aside the 'Rainbow Bathroom', we have some British themed nest items which quite frankly, look pretty creative! However, maybe make it more British than London looking? Wouldn't it be awesome to also have other landmarks included in the items such as the Brighton Pavilion, Edinburgh Castle etc to present the wide range of the country rather than just the capital of one of the countries within the four countries in the UK? And fer crying out loud, "Tea anyone?", WHY ARE YOU BEING RACIST TO YOURSELVES? The people that tend to see us British people as tea enthusiasts are a few of those abroad such as the Americans for example. But of course, doesn't this just go towards my theory that one of the staff members are possessed by an American ghost as mentioned in my last highlights post?
Moving onto the Meme game *cough* *cough* Bin Weevils, we have only TWO HIGHLIGHTS! Which is just a recycled firework set along with the annual Best Nest bonuses! What is this!? You may as well have put these highlights onto a blog made specifically for Weevil World because there is so many more highlights compared to Bin Weevils to begin with!
Rest assured, Bin Weevils as you may know has recently become a huge laughing stock as a mainstream YouTuber recently made a video of the game where he simply analyses it as he plays:

Rest assured, Bin Weevils as you may know has recently become a huge laughing stock as a mainstream YouTuber recently made a video of the game where he simply analyses it as he plays:
So, what do I think of it? I myself think it was absolutely hilarious considering the fact it clearly shows what the game is like in the eyes of someone who has never played it before and even they picked up on how crazy the advertisements on the game are!
Furthermore, they immediately saw it as a Club Penguin rip off despite Bin Weevils being out longer which just shows how much Bin Weevils have changed over the past years in terms of getting a lot of inspiration from others *cough* Moshi Monsters.
Lastly, they presented the fine work of 55Pixels to an enormous audience whom have all responded and have actually populated the game throughout the last week. In addition to that, 55Pixels's terrible name filter has been brought to light as hundreds of accounts with inappropriate names have been created and have swarmed nest street since. Although I am against inappropriate names being created on a kids game, I am in this case glad that they have been made as a large group as it puts pressure on 55Pixels and it tells them that they simply cannot turn a blind eye to such names as a bunch of them could easily be created at once and shown at children throughout the whole game making it not very pleasing when it comes to their parents.
The aftermath has resulted in Bin Weevils being a major laughing stock like it ought to be now that it has been shown to an audience of over 100,000 rather than the minority audience that still resides in the dying game. The game itself is now been given it's meme recognition which all I say to that is, it's about time!
I have also heard that 55Pixels have got the legendary video based on truth un-monetised due to how 'negative' it was towards the game (they clearly haven't seen my videos) which yet again shows the childish attitude they take towards constructive criticism which still makes me wonder why they are a freaking company to begin with.
So to end this post, what I have to say to 55Pixels is: stop having the mind that crazy communist dictators have towards criticism and learn to accept it as an area of improvement and NOT a bloody insult! Oh, and for God's sake learn your seasons as November can either be Autumn or Winter and cannot be both so rather than hovering between the two, pick one and stick to it!
That's it for this post!
